CONTACT MONSTER PETS' OWNERS AND DEVELOPERS/SHOPPING CENTER OWNERS - Politely tell them you will not shop at either of their stores until they stop selling animals and start working with reputable* shelters and rescues to host adoption events at the stores. Even if you don't live near Monster Pets, you can still contact them and tell them you disapprove of their sale of live beings from horribly abusive breeding mills.
If you send an email you may hear back from a Monster Pets' representative Susan Hoagland who some people refer to as Monster Pets' "dog lady". Ms. Hoagland may tell you that she personally visits the local breeders to "hand pick" the puppies. Think about it, if she personally travels to the breeding facilities to restock Monster Pets' puppy supply that must mean she is purchasing the puppies from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a.k.a "The Puppy Mill Capital of the East Coast". You may also be told that Monster Pets works with rescues and shelters. We are not aware of any rescues and shelters that do, in fact, work with Monster Pets. Compassionate people are greatly needed to join the peaceful demonstrations in front of Monster Pets. Our demonstrations include educational leafleting and sign holding. If you've never been to a demo before and you have questions, feel free to send us an email at BoycottMonsterPets@yahoo.com.

Vera, a rescued puppy mill mom, and her fur sister, Annabell, help to tell people why they should not shop at Monster Pets or other stores that sell animals. The majority of people that meet our rescued dogs and speak with us decide to boycott stores that sell animals and instead shop at animal-friendly stores that promote adoption.

During the holidays we urge people not to give animals as presents. If a person is ready to make the commitment and bring an animal into their life, we profile area dogs that are available for adoption and desperately need a home for the holidays.
*Reputable shelters and rescues will not work with puppy stores. They understand that working with such stores may save a few animals but it will also help to ensure a lifetime of misery for dogs imprisoned in puppy mills that the stores do business with.
