The Pennsylvania SPCA offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries at its Rutherford Memorial Hospital for all dogs and cats, even those that were not adopted from a PSPCA branch. Surgery costs are $40 for male cats, $50 for female cats, $65 for male dogs and $85 for female dogs. All animals need to be up to date on all vaccinations, with the most recent shots having been administered three weeks before the spay/neuter procedure.
